Philanthropy

The men of Delta Tau Delta pride themselves on their service to the University of Alabama and the Tuscaloosa Community. Philanthropy has been a longstanding hallmark of what it means to be a true Delt. We make a point of setting ourselves apart from other fraternities and campus organizations by helping others. Thank you for reviewing our Philanthropic endeavors. If you are a charitable or service organization and are interested in partnering with Delta Tau Delta to better our world, please contact Patrick Klir at ptklir@crimson.ua.edu.

This year Delta Eta will be hosting the Third Annual Roast the Hogs barbecue to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The event will be held on October 9th in preparation for the football game against Arkansas.

Be The Match

The Delta Eta Chapter recently partnered with the Be The Match Foundation. Trying to find a bone marrow match for a fellow Delt's three year old cousin, hundreds turned out to have their mouth's swabbed for the chance that it could save this girl's life. The event was the largest bone marrow matching drive in the state of Alabama. As a result of this drive one of our members, Michael Keefe, matched with a man on the National Bone Marrow Registry. He followed through and completed the donation in August of 2013.
